‎Members of The Reliance Chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, Edo State Council, has paid a courtesy visit to its grand patron, Etose Dickson Imasogie at his residence in Benin City.
‎
‎The visit was to introduce the new executive members of the Chapel and to seek the elder statesman’s guidance.
‎
‎Speaking during the visit, the Chapel Leader and founder of The Reliance Newspaper, *Sir Ralph Okhiria, described Pa. Imasogie as “the grand father of The Reliance Newspaper” and “the grand patron of The Reliance Chapel.”
‎
‎He told the elder statesman that their mission to his was to introduce the new chapel leadership, and officially inform him of the passing of a member, late Felix Azamosa, and the health predicament of another member, Mr. Aimien Bazuaye, who survived a ghastly motor accident some months ago and that he has since then been in and out of hospital performing surgeries.

The Reliance Chapel Leader, therefore used the opportunity to solicit financial support for him to enable him continue with his medical treatment, noting that the chapel had earlier extended its financial gesture to him but was grossly inadequate hence the decision to reach out to the grand patron for help.

‎Sir Okhiria introduced the new executives as: *Com. Famous Iguisi (Chairman), Com. Ibifagha Blessing (Vice Chairman), Com. Saviour Jimoh Alabi (Secretary), and Com. Ilusota Happiness (Treasurer).
‎
‎Other members present included *Elder Osagie Aifuwa and a former chairman of the Chapel, Com. Kadiri Christopher.
‎
‎The Chapel solicited Pa. Imasogie’s prayers and fatherly advice, describing him as a foremost politician and one of the biggest farmers in Edo State.
‎
‎In his response, Etose Imasogie commiserated with the Chapel over the loss of its member and declared that the new Chairman was welcome to his house anytime and any day. He assured the executives of his prayers for God’s wisdom for the new chapel executive members to carry out their duties effectively.
‎
‎As a mark of support philanthropy, Pa. Imasogie presented drinks to the members and made a cash donation to the new executive members of The Reliance Chapel.
‎
‎Responding, the Chapel Chairman, Com. Famous Iguisi, expressed appreciation to Pa. Imasogie, describing him as a man of vast experience and a personality to reckon with. He assured that the morale of journalists in the Chapel would be heightened and that the Chapel would continue to engage with positive feedback.
