Many eminent personalities, including the National President of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), Bishop Wale Oke, three former presidents of the PFN, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, Papa Ayo Oritsejafor and Bishop Mike Okonkwo,
have graced the 80th birthday anniversary celebration of the former president of PFN, Rev. Dr. Felix Omobude in Benin City.

The birthday ceremony took place on Saturday at the Peniel Convention Centre of the New Covenant Gospel Church, Benin City.

Speaking at the birthday ceremony, the founder and senior pastor of Word of Life Bible Church, Ayo Oritsejafor described the celebrant as a gentle and honest man whom he has known for about 55 years.

Oritsejafor who dwelt so much on the circumstances that surrounded the birth of Moses, which he read from the book of Exodus 2:1, related it to Dr. Felix Omobude who suffered a great deal too but survived and overcame it.

According to him, despite what happened to Moses, God waited till he was 80 years before He used him for His signs and wonders.

The clergyman described the 80 years of Omobude as his second phase of life where God will use him mightily to liberate men for His kingdom and be s blessing to mankind.

He said that every man born of a woman is being assigned with a responsibility but it is quite unfortunate that most don’t know what they are called to do.

Pastor Oritsejafor, noted that a man’s assignment on earth does not depend on his age but his availability, integrity, preparedness and God’s timing, saying that, Omobude has been able to fit into it.

Pastor Enoch Adeboye, general overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), latter prayed that God should grant Omobude the grace to finish well and strong.

For the celebrant, Rev. Dr. Felix Omobude he said he has keyed into the message delivered by Ayo Oritsejafor who described his 80 years birthday as a journey into the second phase of his life on earth.

“Well, the speaker at the service said it. It’s a new phase. And I’m just God’s servant. And He said He will give me His word. So, I’m open to that.

“If Moses had a call to deliver the entire Hebrew race at the age of 80, I said I still have something to give to my generation”, Omobude said.
